Bushwick Inlet Park begins the
remaking of
the Greenpoint-Williamsburg waterfront from an industrial strip to
a public park. The project consists of parkland at the water’s
edge, a multipurpose athletic field in the center, and a building
for community facilities and park operations at Kent Avenue.
Opened in October 2013, the project is a 2014
AIA Top Ten environmental project winner, an ArchDaily Top 100 US Project and recipient of other awards including the ALSA NY 2015 Design award for Starr Whitehouse.
