Green Screen:
Deciduous vines grow on stainless steel cables to provide seasonal shading for glass windows on the east and west facades. The vines not only function like outdoor louvers to shade the windows, but the leaves transpire, lowering the surrounding air temperature by 5 to 10 °C. The plants also generate oxygen and clean the air. The large surface area of the leaves collects suspended particulates very prevalent in this location.
