Stillwell Avenue Terminal, the world's largest
above-ground transit terminal and the gateway to Coney Island, was reconstructed
from 2001 to 2005. Kiss + Cathcart were
the architects for the new solar glass train shed, which covers the majority
of the platforms. The project is the world's largest Building Integrated Photovoltaic
thin film structure.
